Kea Enos is a Partner at Schmeiser Olsen with more than 20 years of experience advising clients on intellectual property strategy, prosecution, enforcement, and portfolio management. He represents a diverse range of clients, including large and small corporations, startups, and individual inventors, and is trusted by in-house patent counsel and law firms worldwide. 

Kea’s practice focuses on developing comprehensive intellectual property strategies that align legal protection with business goals. He advises clients on patent prosecution, global portfolio management, licensing, due diligence, litigation, and enforcement, helping them protect, strengthen, and commercialize their innovations across competitive markets. 

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

At Schmeiser Olsen, Kea prosecutes patent applications across a wide range of technologies, including energy generation, mechanical and electromechanical systems, automotive technologies, computer hardware and software, and business methods. His technical background enables him to handle complex subject matter while delivering practical, business-focused legal solutions. 

Kea also brings extensive experience in intellectual property litigation and enforcement. He has represented clients in patent infringement, trademark infringement, copyright infringement, and trade secret misappropriation matters in federal district courts across Arizona, Texas, Virginia, and Pennsylvania. In addition to traditional litigation, Kea is highly experienced in alternative enforcement strategies, including takedown requests, ICANN UDRP proceedings, and proceedings before the TTAB and PTAB, providing clients with creative and cost-effective enforcement options.
